2. Definitions.—In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) “Council” or “Medical Council” means the 1[Karnataka Medical Council]1 established under this Act; (b) “notification” means a notification published in the official Gazette; (c) “registered practitioner” means any person registered under the provisions of this Act; (d) “regulations” means regulations made under section 32; (e) “rules” means rules made under section 31.
