Section 40. Authority to have power to acquire land by agreement.

40. Authority to have power to acquire land by agreement.- Subject to provisions of this Act and with the previous approval of the Government, the Authority may enter into an agreement with the owner of any land or any interest therein, whether situated within or without the Mysuru Local Planning Area, for the purchase of such land or interest therein for the purpose of this Act.
