Section 17. Power of Chairperson to take certain decisions.

17. Power of Chairperson to take certain decisions.- Where the Chairperson is of the opinion that a matter is so urgent that it cannot wait or that a matter is so frivolous, not necessitation convening of a meeting of the Authority, under section 14 or for decision of the Authority by circulation under section 16, he may pass such orders as he may deem fit and it shall be implemented in the same manner as the decisions of the Authority: Provided that every decision so taken by the Chairperson under this section shall be placed before the Authority at its next meeting.
