1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the 1[Karnataka]1 Public Service Commission (Conduct of Business and Additional Functions) Act, 1959. (2) Section 2 and Chapter II of this Act shall come into force at once; and the remaining provisions shall come into force on such 1[date]1 as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint.
