Instruments executed in the 1[State of Karnataka]1.- All instruments chargeable with duty and executed by any person in the 1[State of Karnataka]1 shall be stamped before or at the time of execution. 1[Provided that nothing in this section shall apply to an instrument in respect of which stamp duty has been paid under section 10A.]1
