Section 37. Delegation of powers.

37. Delegation of powers.- (1) The Government may, by notification, direct that any power exercisable by the Government except the power to make rules under this Act shall be exercisable by an officer of the Government, subject to such terms as may be specified in such notification. (2) The Government may by rules, authorise the Prescribed Authority to delegate any or all of its function to such other officer, as may be prescribed therein.
