Section 24. Repeal and savings.

24. Repeal and savings.- The enactments specified in the Fourth Schedule are repealed to the extent mentioned in the fourth column thereof: Provided that the provisions of section 6 of the 1[Karnataka]1 General Clauses Act, 1899 (1[Karnataka]1 Act III of 1899), shall be applicable in respect of the repeal of the enactments specified in serial numbers 5, 6 and 7 of the Fourth Schedule and section 8 and section 24 of the said Act shall be applicable as if the said enactments had been repealed and re-enacted by this Act.
