2. Amendment of section 3.—In section 3 of the Public Wakfs (Extension of Limitation) Act, 1959 (Central Act 29 of 1959) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words, figures and letters “the 31st day of December, 1970”, the words, figures and letters “the 31st day of December, 1972” shall be substituted.
