2. Definitions.—In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) “Commission” means the Kerala State Commission for Minorities constituted under Section 3; (b) “Government” means the Government of Kerala; (c) “Member” means a member of the Commission and includes the Chairperson; (d) “Minority” means a community notified by the Central Government under the National Commission for Minorities Act, 1992 (Central Act 19 of 1992); (e) “prescribed” means prescribed by rules made under this Act.
