Section 4. Constitution of the Board.

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Kerala Decentralisation of Powers Act, 2000 (16 of 2000); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
4. Constitution of the Board.—(1) The Board shall consist of a Chairman and such number of members not exceeding ten as may be fixed by the Government from time to time. (2) The members of the Board shall be nominated by the Government: Provided that a majority of the total number of members of the Board shall be non-officials who are members of the Panchayats in the State. (3) The Chairman and members of the Board shall hold office during the pleasure of the Government.
