38. Sums recoverable as arrears of land revenue.— Any sum, whether by way of occupancy price, rent, fine, overpayment of compensation 2[compensation payable under section 21A] or, otherwise payable by any person to the State Government by or under the provisions of this Act, shall if not paid by such person, be recoverable as an arrear of land revenue.
