Section 34. Appeals.

34. Appeals.— For the purposes of appeal and revision under the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (V of 1898)2, an order of detention under this Act (including an order of detention under section 5), shall be deemed to be a sentence of imprisonment for the same period.
