Section 1. Short title and extent. The Maharashtra Education and Employment Guarantee (Cess) Act, 1962.

1. Short title and extent.— (1) This Act may be called the 4[Maharashtra Education and Employment Guarantee] (Cess) Act, 1962.
(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra.
