Settlement made before this Code to be deemed to be made under this Chapter.— All settlement of land revenue heretofore made and in operation at the date of the commencement of this Code, shall be deemed to have been made and introduced in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter ; and shall continue to remain in operation until the introduction of a revision settlement under the provision of this Code. 1[* * *]
