19. Officer or person in jail may secure his release by furnishing security.— if an officer or other person referred to in section 17 against whom a demand is made shall give sufficient security in the form in Schedule B, the Collector shall cause such officer or person if in custody to be liberate and countermand the sale of any property that may have been attached and restore it to the owner.
