Section 253. Provision where last day for appeal falls on Sunday or holiday.

253. Provision where last day for appeal falls on Sunday or holiday.— Whenever the last day of any period provided in this Chapter for presentation of an appeal or an application for review falls on a Sunday or other holiday recognised by the State Government the day next following the close of the holiday shall be deemed to be such last day.
