Section 278. State Government may order survey and appoint Superintendent.

278. State Government may order survey and appoint Superintendent.— (1) The State Government may, whenever it thinks fit, order that a survey shall be made of the lands situated in the City of Bombay and for such purpose may appoint a Superintendent of Survey and one or more Assistant Superintendent of Survey. (2) The Assistant Superintendent shall exercise such powers as may be delegated to them by the Superintendent.
