Section 92. Power of State Government to direct original or revision settlement of land revenue of any lands.

92. Power of State Government to direct original or revision settlement of land revenue of any lands.— Subject to the provisions of section 91, the State Government may at any time direct a settlement of land revenue of any land (hereinafter referred to as an “original settlement”), or a fresh settlement thereof (hereinafter referred to as “revision settlement”), whether or not a revenue survey thereof has been made under section 79 : Provided that, no enhancement of assessment shall take effect before the expiration of the settlement for time being in force.
