Section 42. Power of Authority to call for returns, reports, etc.

42. Power of Authority to call for returns, reports, etc.— The Metropolitan Authority shall have power to call for any return, statement of accounts, reports, statistics or other information from any local authority or other authority or person in the Metropolitan Region, which is required by it in exercise of its powers and the performance of its duties under this Act, or any other law for the time being in force and such authority or person shall be bound to furnish such information.
