Fees for cost of recovery 1[and penalty may be remitted].— The 2[Commissioner may, in his discretion, remit the whole or any part 3[of any penalty payable under section 202 or of any fee chargeable under section 207 or of any penalty payable under section 207A as it existed before the commencement of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (Third Amendment) Act, 2006 (Mah. XI of 2009)].
