Section 290. Disposal of land forming site of closed streets.

290. Disposal of land forming site of closed streets.— Whenever any public street, or part of a public street, is permanently closed under section 289, the site of such street, or of the portion thereof which has been closed, may be disposed of as land vesting in the corporation.
