13[72A. Power to execute contracts with unemployed Engineers.— Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act but subject to the terms and conditions, as may be determined by the State Government, by general or special orders, the Commissioner may enter into any contract for the execution of work, which involves expenditure not exceeding rupees five lakhs, with unemployed Engineers: Provided that, the terms and conditions so determined by the State Government shall also include the conditions as to the qualification, experience and the provisions for registration of the unemployed Engineers: Provided further that, the Corporation may also specify the terms and conditions, not inconsistent with the terms and conditions determined by the State Government for the execution of such contract.]
