Section 257. Supervision of buildings and works.

257. Supervision of buildings and works.— Every person who intends to erect a new building or execute any such work as is described in section 254, shall erect the building or execute the work in such manner, under such supervision, through such qualified agency, and subject to such conditions and restrictions as may be prescribed by the by-laws.
