349. Power of appointment in whom to vest.— Subject to the provisions of sections 347 and 348, the power of appointing municipal officers and servants for the purposes of the Transport Undertaking shall vest in the Transport Manager if the minimum monthly salary, exclusive of allowances, is less than two hundred rupees and in the Transport Committee in all other cases.
