490. Certain Acts to cease to apply to City.— The Bombay District Municipal Act, 1901 (Bom. II of 1901), the Bombay Municipal Boroughs Act, 1925 (Bom. XVIII of 1925) and the Bombay Village Panchayats Act, 1933 (Bom. VI of 1933), shall cease to apply, except as hereinafter provided, to any area included in the City.
