345. Special provision regarding Councillors of existing councils whose term is due to expire after 31st December 1965.— Notwithstanding anything contained in any repealed law or any other law for the time being in force, the term or extended term of office of the Councillors or members of any existing Council which is due to expire after the 31st day of December 1965, shall expire at 12 midnight on 1[the 31st day of December 1967 or such 2[earlier date as may be specified in this behalf by the State Government by notification in the Official Gazette.]]
