7. Municipal authorities charged with execution of the Act.— The municipal authorities charged with carrying out the provisions of this Act for each municipal area are— (a) the Council; (b) the President; (c) the Standing Committee; (d) the Subjects Committees, if any; 4[* *] 5[(dd) the Wards Committee where constituted; and] (e) the Chief Officer.
