The Maharashtra Protection of People from Social Boycott (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2016

15. Social Boycott Prohibition Officer.— The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, designate any officer of the Government, as the Social Boycott Prohibition Officer as it may consider necessary and may also notify the area or areas within which he shall exercise the powers and perform the duties prescribed by rules.
