Section 38. Withdrawal of autonomous status.

38. Withdrawal of autonomous status.— The Board on receipt of complaint or suo-moto after conducting an enquiry and after being heard by issuing show cause notice is satisfied that the institutions granted autonomy failed to comply with the conditions as provided in sections 35 and 36 and has failed to attain high academic and administrative standards as prescribed by the Board, from time to time, it shall recommend to the Government to withdraw the autonomous status of the institute and the decision of the Government thereon shall be final and binding.
