4. Superintendence, control and administration of Force.— The superintendence of and control over the State Reserve Police Force shall vest in the State Government ; and the State Reserve Police Force shall be administered by the State Government in accordance with the provisions of this Act and of any rules made thereunder, through such officers as the State Government may from time to time appoint in this behalf.
