This Act was repealed on 16 January 2017 by the Maharashtra Repealing (Second) Act, 2016 (Mah. 15 of 2017), s.2 and Schedule A, serial 1; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
1. Repeal of Act VIII of 1851. 3Act VIII of 1851 is hereby repealed in so far as it affects the Presidency of Bombay.
