Delegation of powers.— (1) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, authorise the Commissioner or any other officer to exercise 12[ * * * *] any of the powers which may be exercised by the State Government under this Act 13[* *]. 1[* * * * * *] (4) Subject to the general or special orders of the State Government, the Commissioner or Collector may delegate to an officer not below the rank of Mamlatdar, Tahsildar, Naib-Tahsildar or Mahalkari, powers exercised by the Commissioner, or as the case may be, the Collector under this Act. 2[(5) Subject to the general or special orders of the State Government, the Chief Executive Officer may delegate to any officer working under a Zilla Parishad all or any of the powers exercisable by him under this Act.]
