48. Other duties.— Subject to such conditions as the State Government may impose, with the consent of the panchayat concerned, the panchayat shall perform such other administrative duties including the distribution of irrigation water, as may after consultation with the 3[Panchayat Samiti] be assigned to it by the State Government by notification in the Official Gazette.
