Section 253. Power of Zilla Parishad to appoint persons on contract.

253. Power of Zilla Parishad to appoint persons on contract.— The Zilla Parishad may appoint any person not being the member of any service under a contract for special purpose, in accordance with rules prescribed by the State Government in this behalf. Such persons shall be paid their salaries, allowances and other emoluments from a district fund.
