Section 71. Resignation of Chairman and Deputy Chairman.

71. Resignation of Chairman and Deputy Chairman.— (1) The Chairman may resign his office by writing under his hand addressed to the President, 1[and his office shall thereupon become vacant]. (2) The Deputy Chairman may resign his office by writing under his hand addressed to the Chairman 2[and his office shall thereupon become vacant]. 3[(3) The notice of resignation shall be delivered in the manner prescribed.]
