Section 8. Incorporation of Zilla Parishads.

8. Incorporation of Zilla Parishads.— Every Zilla Parishad shall be a body corporate by the name of “The ..................... Zilla Parishad”, and shall have perpetual succession and a common seal, and shall be competent to contract, acquire and hold property, both moveable and immovable, whether within or without the limits of the area over which it has authority, and may in its corporate name sue and be sued.
