Section 24. Power to State Council to direct removal of name from the State Medical Register and re-entry of names therein

24. Power to State Council to direct removal of name from the State Medical Register and re-entry of names therein: The State Council may remove the name of any registered practitioner from the State Medical Register, who has been- (a) convicted for an offence involving moral turpitude; or (b) found guilty of misconduct after due enquiry in the prescribed manner: Provided that any name so removed may be afterwards re-entered in the State Medical Register under the direction of the State Council.
