28. Penalty on unregistered person representing that he is registered: If any person whose name is not entered in the State Medical Register and falsely pretends that it is so entered, or uses in connection with his name or title any words or letters or numbers representing that his name is so entered he shall, whether any person is actually deceived by such representation or not, be punishable, with imprisonment which may extend to six months or with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, or both.
