Section 8. Parliamentary Secretary not to draw salary and allowances as Member

This Act was repealed on 4 April 2018 by the Manipur Parliamentary Secretary (Appointment, Salary and Allowances and Miscellaneous Provisions) Repealing Act, 2018 (Manipur Act No. 6 of 2018), s.2(1), in force with immediate effect (assent 4 April 2018); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
8. A Parliamentary Secretary shall not, while he draws salary and allowances for his office as such Parliamentary Secretary, be entitled to any salary or allowances as a Member of the Manipur Legislative Assembly.
