Section 175. Application of this Chapter.

175. Application of this Chapter. This Chapter shall apply to,--- (a) pollution damage caused by,--- (i) Indian vessel within the jurisdiction of any contracting party to the Civil Liability Convention; and (ii) Indian vessel and any ship while it is at a port or place in India including the coastal waters, extending not more than two hundred nautical miles from the baseline; (b) preventive measures, wherever taken, to prevent or minimise such pollution damage.
