293. Birth and death of persons onboard vessel during a voyage. The master of any vessel performing a voyage shall, on arrival at the next port or place of call, intimate the proper officer, the date of any birth or death of any person occurring during the voyage and the cause of death or any other relevant details, as the Central Government may by order, specify in this behalf.
