Section 27. Repeal and Savings

This Act was repealed on 1 July 2017 by the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Act No. 6 of 2017), s.174(1)(ii); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
27. Repeal and Savings: – On and from the date of commencement of this Act, the Assam Amusement and Betting Tax Act, 1939 [Assam Act VI of 1939] as adapted in Mizoram and amended from time to time shall stands repealed: Provided that anything done or action taken under the said Act so repealed shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding Section of this Act.
