This Act was repealed on 28 May 2019 by the Mizoram Liquor (Prohibition) Act, 2019 (Act No. 8 of 2019), s.54(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
47. Penalty for selling spurious liquor: Whoever sells or keeps spurious liquor shall be punishable with imprisonment of not less than three months which may extend to three years and fine of not less than five thousand rupees which may extend to ten thousand rupees.
