16. Allowances etc. of members of the Boards, Committees and Sub Committees for attending at the Board Meeting etc.- Members of the Board or any Committee or Sub-Committee constituted under this Act but are not in the service of the Government, shall, in respect of expenses incurred by them for attending meeting of the Board, or of any such Committee or Sub-Committee, or in exercising any power or performing any duties conferred or imposed on them by or under this Act, be paid by the Board such allowances and as such rates as may be prescribed.
