The Mizoram Street Vendor (Protection of Livelihood & Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2011

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Mizoram Street Vendor (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) (Repeal) Act, 2017 (Act 5 of 2017), s.2(1), assented 29.03.2017, published in the Mizoram Gazette Extraordinary of 12.04.2017; it may still apply to matters that began before then.

1. Short title, extent and Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Mizoram Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2011. (2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Mizoram except the areas of the Autonomous District Councils under the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution of India. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. (4) The provisions of this Act shall not apply to the land, premises and trains owned and controlled by the Railway.
