Section 12. Discharge from Nagaland Armed Police.

Discharge from Nagaland Armed Police.- 12. Notwithstanding anything contained in the police Act, 1861 (V of 1861) or any other law, no officer of the Nagaland Armed Police shall be entitled to be discharged from the Nagaland Armed Police except upon conditions as may be prescribed. If any Nagaland Armed Police Officer resigns his appointment and absents himself from duty in contravention of prescribed conditions he shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees or with both.
