Section 1. Short title extent commencement and application.

1. (i) This Act may be called the nagaland Health Care Establishments Act, 1997 (ii) It extends to the whole of the State of Nagaland (iii) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette appoint. (iv) It shall apply to all Nursing Homes, Clinics including the ones run by the Voluntary organisations other than the Establishments set up by the Central government or the government of any State.
