Payment of interest. – 13. When the amount of any compensation payable under his Act is not paid or deposited within thirty days from the date of the award, the Collector shall pay the amount awarded with interest thereon at the rate of 6 percent per annum from the date of the award until it shall have been so paid or deposited.
