Section 78. Forest Officers deemed to be public servants

78. Forest Officers deemed to be public servants :– All Forest Officers shall be deemed to be :- (a) Public servants within the meaning of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (45 of 1860); (b) Police Officers for execution of search warrants issued in exercise of powers conferred under Clause (c), Sub-Section (1) of Section 77.
