18. Incidents of Office :– (1) The Office of the members of the Grama Panchayat shall be honorary. 1[(2) The members of the Grama Panchayat including the Sarpanch and Naib-Sarpanch shall be paid such sitting fee for every meeting they attend and such travelling and daily allowances 2[as the State Government may, by notification, determine] and all such fees and allowances shall be paid from out of the Grama Fund.]
